Agree about the WIX filter, has better end caps on the filter vs the oem filter that you just press the oil line tube ends into it, not a great design imo.
Penzoil Ultra Platinum w/ Wix filter
That OEM filter is probably made at the same factory as an off the shelf filter from pretty much any automotive parts store. Hell, I'm doing an oil change tomorrow and I'm going to get a Wix 57002 and some Pennzoil.
It\u2019s been peanuts for me so far (knock on wood)\n\nI use Mann Filters and full synthetic 5W40 every 5k miles like clockwork.
Have always used WIX since new for both oil and fuel. No issues in my 2016.

I always use a Wix from O’Reillys and have never had an issue.
chain driven and reliable, only maintenance they need is regular oil changes and you can do that yourself for \u00a335 with a jug of castrol and a mann filter
We have a 2023 tiquan hi r line and a 2023 Taos highline never an issue except rear brakes on Taos and wipers both taken care of under warranty/ we change oil Liqui moly 0w-20 every 5,000 km with a Mann oil filter and air filter every second oil change also by Mann
I\u2019ve seen the same thing with MANN filters on my M54.
