Shock absorbers Bilstein or KONI
I got a pair of the 3100 Bilstiens in my 1995 K1500, the old ones WERE STOCK FROM THE DAMN FACTORY, I replaced them and gave me about an inch of lift and drives like something else, I highly recommend them, plus they come with stickers to slap on your window or the tailgate
I've always just run Monroe gas-matics but currently have Billsteins on my Suburban. They're a stiffer ride and more expensive but are durable.
I had the pro-kit with Koni sports on a MKVI GTI and it was fantastic. Also had Koni Sports and Neuspeed springs on a MK3 Jetta way back in the day. Also fantastic.
I recently installed the metal tech conversion kit with Bilstein 5100s. Rides like a dream!
Koni yellows and your choice of spring. I run h&r sports and it’s still very daily friendly and comfortable, but is sporty enough to throw into corners with no hesitation.
Bilstein B8s…..by a long shot. You get the lowering support you need and the ride comfort is almost on par with stock ride. Only the worst road hazards are felt.
Bilstein 4600, usually go for about 90-100 a piece. I run them on all of our cars, Sequoia included.
KONI red front shocks, brand new never used, looking for $175 for the pair plus shipping if needed.
I just did the 5100's at 2". I also have a +0 offset wheel (this matters). My 275/70R17's rub the mudflap at full turn when entering a driveway.
Im not a fan of Bilstein 5100, they replaced a set of blown rough country shocks on a rig i bought and the ride honestly felt the same to me.
