Replace or upgrade shock absorbers / dampers. These are doing the hard work on rougher roads to keep everything under control. KYB seems a reasonable OEM+ style option

I recently did all 4 shocks in my 2002. I got the KYB Gas-a-just shocks from rockauto.com for like $40 per. They’re OEM fit and do what they’re supposed to.

Pros: OEM fit, does job

I put KYB on my 07 Corolla and 2-3 months in they feel great, car rides very smooth.

Pros: smooth ride, feel great

I did KYB … They made a huge change to my 99 Corolla.

I just put kyb excel-G on my 07 xlt. Rides a little stiff but handles way better. And is definitely night and day riding over bumps/backroads

Pros: handles way better

Cons: rides a little stiff

Went with KYbs to replace the originals on my 96. Drives like new and they were cheap off rock auto

Pros: drives like new

I have the same ones on mine. they seem to do the job just fine. a bit stiffer than the oil filled sachs

The KYB shocks I ordered from them had the wrong bushings, both front and back sets.
