Spark plug Autolite or BRISK
I used them in my 2007 Tacoma with no problems. Left them in for several years.
Brisk LGS plugs basically remove that L shape off the spark at the end. I would expect it act more like plugs do when we index them to the fuel flow. such that you get a better flow in the combustion chamber more consistently.
I put autolite's in my 2010 V6 and they've been perfectly fine.
I find that chevies and dodges like autolite or delcos, fords i run motorcraft only, japanese stuff gets ngk's or bosch.
Note that decent spark plugs are hella expensive, but worth it due to lasting a lot longer than cheap $4 Autolite's.
These are Autolite plugs, not Motorcraft. Which means the plugs in this vehicle have been changed before, that probably has a little to do with why it was easier than usual to get these out. By the looks of the plugs and the lack of carbon buildup and corrosion (the two factors that cause these plugs to size the most) I'd say they weren't in there for a very long time either. Going by my experience with Autolite plugs in Fords (very little experience as I work on Euros mostly) if they don't start misfiring right away it's usually within a couple of months.
the autolites are bottom of the barrel, i've only used them once when i was young and dumb and ofc they busted while trying to repair and remove after.
Yeah, get rid of those: autolite is junk.
My dad just returned a set of autolites. I installed them and had immediate misfire.
Once we got a good local supplier for Motorcraft plugs a few years ago we almost never install Autolite.
