Spark plug Bosch or BERU
The Bosch side fires are an AAN plug that has a removable top. I will probably use those, they worked great with my B5 S4.
I've been using bosch FD5POR aka rs2 plugs. I'm quite pleased with them.
Bosch F5DP0R on a T3/T4 50 trim at 25psi daily. Love it.
I've been running BOSH+ and it feels great!!
I've used Bosch plugs for many years all types and never ever had one single issue.
I've used nothing but Bosch in my 2L and never ever had any issues.
I am at 20,000 miles with my 07 VW GTI that has several modifications including a chip and I am about to change my spark plugs. I have heard many people say that the colder application spark plugs will work better for my car due to the fact that it is chipped. I went to the dealer and purchased the bosch #101-905-631-B spark plugs which the dealer recommends, but I dont know if these plugs are the colder application? Please give me your guys feedback on what plugs I should buy (Part #'s and website that I can purchase them from). I care about my GTI and want it to run the best it possibly can. I appreciate any feedback you guys can give!
I'm a technition with many years under my belt.... and had numerouse out of the box brand new BOSH plugs that upon installing them were dead, not just one but two in the same set, i would then take em out, check gap, and spark test the plug wires and coil, swop them to a diff cylender and bam.. still crap, im not trying to knock them and im not and NGP rep, im speaking from experience
iv had mor problems with a brand new bosh plug then any other plug.. even cheap knock off checker brands...
Every time I fill up I check my mileage, I could never get great MPG from the FR8DS, but the coppers were way better MPG wise. Throttle response was less as well. The Silbers always looked more sooty during inspections than the coppers. The silver plug will last longer.
