Spark plug Denso or Motorcraft
Either one, but I found the Denso to be cheaper and easier to get. No issues with them.
You can usually find DENSO IRIDIUM Spark Plugs , which are the OEM Supplier, for about $15 each at any Advance Auto or other major auto parts store.
Yesss got denso coils and spark plugs off their site and they have been great
I do run Motorcraft plugs because they seem to crack a little less than the Autolites.
And, before you get too far, are you replacing with the right plugs? I presume it’s the 2AZ 4-cyl since you’re not asking us how to get to the back plugs. The right ones are the Denso Iridium Long Life or the NGK Laser Iridium.
anecdotally, my truck was at 226k when i changed the plugs. motor craft plugs coated, no anti seize, torqued tighter than advised. probably 20lb ft. 2 rear plugs were originals. i’m now at 235k and nothing wrong yet.
I’ve found that Motorcraft platinum spark plugs work best in my 1998 Ford Ranger. I tried Bosch plugs and it ran terribly. Nothing but Motorcraft from now on (for Fords).
I use Denso IK20TT and these spark plugs work every time, on both fuels.
I bought the plugs from Toyota (Denso). I asked for the old plugs off. The plugs I got back were NGKs that were installed at the factory. I can’t say I notice a difference really (except new plugs did seem to make a difference).
the densos work fine, the point of swapping is not for any performance gain, rather to prevent shattered ceramic from raining into your cylinders
