Spark plug NGK or OEM Mazda
Spark plugs do actually vary for some reason, I always use whats oem to the car. In my case thats the ngk iridium plugs (same goes for cables).
NGK or bust.
Most manufacturers don't make their own spark plugs anyway. They are usually just rebranded Denso/NGK/Bosch. I would have no concern fitting NGK spark plugs provided the part number is correct.
Use NGK brand and replace it.
There is a meteor 350 in my riding group with an iridium plug which i will say he Acquired Unexpectedly, and damn the results are just awesome.
Just did mine at 69k. Felt like a small pickup in performance.
Bought a used 2014 CX5 with like 250km on it. Changed the spark plugs the second I bought it. Now THOSE were due.
When that started I replaced the spark plugs and coil packs. This was done at 82k miles. There were very small amounts of oil in cylinders 1, 2, and 4. Problems still persisted after replacement of plugs and coils.
Put in new plugs which are NGK 2309 at stock gap which was recommended by my tuner. DID NOT CHANGE OR FIX MY PROBLEM.
Those spark plugs don't look like the highest quality parts. Get some from NGK or Bosch. Better made parts that are more suited to modern engines
