Spark plug NGK or OEM Volkswagen
Go NGK and Iridium. They are a better spark and help burn any sediment off the tip. Also bonus is, they last about 50-80,000km.
If you do get plugs, go with NGK plugs instead. Good quality.
I installed these NGK 94833 plugs a few weeks prior. They are pre-gapped to .031 according to Urotuning.
Guys I replaced the spark plugs tonight with NGK iridium plugs and my light went away. Thankfully it wasn’t anything more that
Sparkplugs replaced at 85,000km, with NGK Iridium plugs.
I buy parts from them for my Volvo. Even with the cost of freight , it's miles cheaper.
I've recommended many times to toss plugs and replace with NGK (you can read about my experience in prior post). You have hopefully educated newbs to follow you.
We bought a 2015 Mazda CX-5 that has 155K miles on it. Plugs never changed by prior owner. It was giving us **26 MPG**. The engine was rough at idle. So I read and read about Spark Plugs and purchased NGK LKAR7AHX-S Spark Plug NGK Ruthenium HX Spark Plug that this is better then the OEM ILKAR7L11. So we installed the HX, we noticed the engine smoother but the MPG dropped down to **24 MPG consistently.
Just replaced the OEM ones with the NGK PLFER7A8EG 94833 as part of my 40k service on the car. Pretty straightforward like usual except the hard part is maneuvering the coil pack connectors that rest again the intake pipe because of the plastic covering that thing was such a pita. But now the car feels like heavy, like when you put on some heavy wheels on and you can tell the difference right away. I've been having to be so light in the gas pedal because it would fly. Now it feels like I really have to push the pedal a lil harder then usual to pick up speed but it just feels heavy kind of (not sure it's the best description) but it's it not hesitating at all.
I replaced the spark plugs with NGK Iridium IX factory gapped to .044". Everything went smoothly, reinstalled coils, air box, battery, connected MAF, and started the car. Now it is shaking, smoke coming out the exhaust, and blinking check engine light.
