Spark plug NGK or OEM Volkswagen
Same with me and NGK replacing Torch plug.
Here’s where I’m at after about a year of ownership. A few of these were just cosmetic fixes. I’m at ~$540 total. Spark plugs, replaced with NGK BPR6ES - $20.00
Look good …. Just try to get denso or ngk
Switching fixed my ignition issues after having Autolite for only 2 days after purchase switched them to NGK and resolved my issues
Just swapped all four plugs in my 2013 Kia optima EX 2.4l for ngk iridium’s, still had the original sensor plugs in at 91k so honestly not sure how I didn’t have any misfires but have had a rough idle
I put a new battery in it. Because it needed one but then I changed the spark blood wires and it now acts like a brand new car, so go to your spark plugs first.
They are very picky with their spark plugs so you are limited to NGK which is oem.
Lol 560 for 4 piece spark plug? That plug better be made of gold even laser iridium also doesn't cost that high. Good ngk iridium cost no more or less than 300. That syn 3k for 300 can get a far better brand n enhanced thermal and oxidative stability grade.
2018 Kia Soul Base, 57k miles, on the third set of plugs and they are misfiring already. Factory plugs lasted 30k miles, followed up with Autolite plugs lasting 10k (which I chalked up to being cheap/low-quality plugs), but now these NGK iridiums are giving out with 17k miles on them.
Just another rare earth metal to charge the user more for. Factory specs call for NGK Iridiums. I can't see a reason to deviate.
