Spark plug OEM FORD or BRISK
You get a better performance if you install a booster plug, DNA air filter and Brisk spark plugs. Great torque from 2000 rpm as a result.
Tengo exactamente el mismo pero en azul, lindo bicho pero en invierno a la mañana sufris, mas te vale tener la bateria cargada y las bujias nuevas, porque sino no arranca
I use a Brisk n17yc.
Get a Brisk spark plug. Worked for me
Been using the cheaper Brisk brand and never had an issue for 20k miles.
Heat Exchanger, also Brisk racing spark plugs I gapped mine to 0.026”.
Brisk are fine. You have to check them about every 5,000 miles. And change out sooner than other brands.
2013 3.5 hitting 170k miles within a few days. Second owner so not sure how it was maintained during it’s life but I’ve done 10k miles so far, needed a waterpump and sparkplugs but it’s pretty normal wear and tear
What plugs you're using may help. In my experience not all plugs are created equal. Brisk, for example, last maybe 5-10k miles before they're garbage. Whereas I can run NGKs for 15k+.
During a 300 mile trip in 100 degree weather, my car decided to start shaking horrendously, and the check engine light started blinking. Ford Pass notified me of a cylinder misfire. Apparently the spark plug was missing a piece, and there was extensive damage. Metal debris throughout the engine, turbo charger, multiple lines and drains. Everything has to be replaced.. but luckily it’s all covered by the 5yr/60k powertrain warranty. Such a huge failure at 46k miles is disappointing. I love the car but definitely have trust issues now.
