I replaced everything with Motorcraft plugs and wires and it has run great since.

I also put Motorcraft new plugs back in. Truck is happy. I'm happy.

I have about 30k on my plugs (Motorcraft OE). I've no problem buying them again as they've held up great
Pros: great durability
Mileage: 30000 km
switched to the back to the motorcraft spark plugs $15 a piece fixed it for a while
Pros: fixed issue temporarily

I heard from an old ford mechanic once that ford designed their ignition system around the motor craft plugs and no other brand plug will run right if installed. Since then only motorcraft or autolite in my fords.

These things literally blast out spark plugs ????. Lots of other tricky issues too. I'm know I'm very biased towards GM but I wouldn't mess with this generation at all for a Ford lol.

ford. had the explorer with the long spark plugs that break. did them once and that truck wasnt around much longer. focus. dual clutch transmission failure.
