Tires BRIDGESTONE or FEDERAL
Speaking with my local shop after my tire rotation, they recommended the Bridgestone Blizzak LM001 18" for when winter comes.
Any thoughts on this one?
Blizzaks have been great
Almost 10 years in the tire game and my favorite tire is the Bridgestone Blizzak. Performs great in the deep snow, very well on ice and wears well and are affordable.
Tires: Federal 595 rear / Cooper Zeon RS3-A front
RE003 Potenza
Potenza Re003 235/40/18
Personally I'm running Potenzas
I use them daily for about 2 years now in SoCal. Daily drive them. I do fine at track days on them and they lasted quite a long time. Now they are pretty loud however but eh kinda get used to them.
I do have a backup set of Bridgestone Turanza (205/55R16) all seasons but I am in the market for new tires now.
my buddy just picked up ws70's for his 2011 wrx. yesterday we went for a ride up the mountains and both of us where dissapointed in the ws70's. There was no snow or ice, but we did hit wet/damp roads and the ws70's where very squirmy in the corners. they sort of understeer then snap and oversteer. I wouldnt suggest them if she does any sort of spirited driving.
