Tires Continental or BFGoodrich
Had ko2's on my 03 outback and for the 3k miles it had them, they still looked brand new
Continental DSW06 and never look back good in the summer amazing in the snow
Vikingcontact 7 — VERY good in snow and ice. Good in dry and wet.
Have had them since Friday and haven’t had any bad weather yet, but there is only just the slightest difference in dry handling performance from the stock tires. For me, a non-professional driver not driving on a track, it’s only just _barely_ noticeable.
I have been really happy with my BFG HD Terrains. Picked them up from eBay as a set of takeoffs in practically new condition. Great on and off road.
I have 70k on them and probably another 5k to go but I do have 5 tires total in rotation. The K02s are pretty quiet on road and perform well enough when offroading in the Sierras. Almost zero time in snow though.
Continental terrain contacts performed amazingly on my vw Touareg. Took them to Moab regularly and lived in summit county Colorado. So they saw plenty of slick rock and snow. Not the best cold weather tire, but one of the best all terrains in cold weather. Way better winter performance than my ko2s.
I’m now a few thousand miles into a set of K03’s. The K03 solved all of the negative K02 issues and surpassed the AT3W. I’m very happy.
Ja som kupoval na jeseň. Podľa väčšiny testov som vybral continental all season contact 2.
Niesu v ničom top, ale ani v ničom zlé. Ale rozdiely medzi prémiovými gumami boli tak +- 5%.
BF Goodrich A/T are - IMO - dangerous on wet tarmac. Not bad, dangerous. I have 2 UAZ Hunter cars... On BFG during just 4kkm already had a few very bad slips in curves and a collision, when I could not stop the car in a traffic jam on 2nd gear (ABS grinding like on ice... In may!). Not to mention the previous owner slipped and hit a tree on these. Same cars, same driver. BFG are very bad on wet road and I mean real bad... Dangerous.
