Tires Continental or Cooper
Ran 3 different sets of Cooper AT3s on my pickups and I like them. Good bang for your buck tire IMO
Love Coopers. I put the Discoverer HTPs on my first truck, lasted over 65k miles including lots of towing; put a second set on that truck years later that was going strong when I sold it recently. Just put a set of Discoverer HTP IIs on my current truck.
Mine are noticeably quieter than the Goodyear's I had. So far grip and longevity are better. I'm a new fan.
Continental is frequently "second place" to Michelin in many categories (follow up on Tire Rack, and look their comparison guides), but they also cost like 80% of Michelin's price almost every time. They are never more expensive in the same category. Really good tires.
Ive run Coopers for years on my vehicles. Currently have the Endeavor Plus tires on the AWD Equinox. Had them about a year now. Like them a lot.
I had Cooper ATPs on my previous truck and was really happy with them. I sold the truck when the tires had like 40k on them and they probably had another 15-20k left in them. They were quiet and good in the rain.
I've got a set of discoverer at3 4s as my summer tires and discoverer snow claws for the winter. They're good tires for summer though, especially for the price I paid. Probably 80% as good as a Michelin or BF Goodrich at 60% of the price. The snow claws have been excellent.
Personally, I’d spend the extra money and get Continental tires because they make good shit. I run them on both cars, specifically the DWS06+. If it can handle my 500+ hp car, it can handle whatever you’re putting them on.
My Continental Pure Contact all seasons are not awesome in snow. My Gislaved Nordfrost tires are.
Continentals always have a soft sidewall and seem to bubble
