Tires Continental or DEXTER
I highly recommend swapping the tires out for GP5000s. I’m happy that I did it when I went to carbon wheels.
I had Extreme Contacts and loved them. I swapped my ContiProContact5s on my 24 S5 Sportback for Extreme Contact DWS06+ as I had them on my 17 Fusion Sport and absolutely loved them.
Blasted through a Salt Lake winter storm a few weeks ago with these. Were amazing on my S3 so I highly recommend. I'm very happy with the continentals though!
I’m on my second set on my Lexus GS350 and I love them. To me they’re just as quiet and grippy as the Michelin PS4S that came on the car but a little cheaper. I do think the continental wears a little faster but it’s almost negligible. They’re fantastic in the rain and dead quiet which were my main concerns.
I use Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 on my S4 and they are really good and comfortable tires. I switched from Pirellis because they were way too stiff. Great on smooth roads but shit on bumpy roads. In New England there are lots of bumpy roads...
I just put a set of AS-07's on my 2020 Altima. Compared to the stock Continental True Contacts they are definitely better as far as handling and in the rain and snow they are much better. They are also a little bit louder on the road and it's noticable but they really aren't that loud. I'd say that for the price they are very good.
Continental, performs like a Michelin for half the price.
I haven't had to change tires for my MX yet, but I have almost exclusively used Continental Extreme Contact DWS on all my other vehicles. Ever since I switched them up on my S2000 years ago. Used them on my 2 370zs, use them on my Nissan LEAF. I am a big fan of them.
I put Continental dws on my 2017 before I traded it in. They were decent for all weather in Ohio
Have the same bubble issue on my 2021 Arteon, 5800 miles, front passenger side.
