I have a G87 and ran continental ECFs for the past 7 events and they’ve been pretty good. Last forever, good heat tolerance, ok road manners.
New tires: Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02 - These have a slightly higher score and are cheaper than the Pilot Sport 4S so I thought I'd give them a try.
I've driven all my life on Contis. Can't complain.
I've been running Continental DWS06+ since then and I've never looked back.
I was torn between these and Conti ECF. Went with ECF just because they were on sale at trackdaytire ????

Continental Extreme Contact tires are fabulous and you can expect about 60k miles as long as your driving style isn’t too crazy.
I’ve been buying Conti DWS06, and they’re treadwear rated in the 600s, IIRC. Good all weather traction and they last a while. My Audi A4 Quattro used to eat through tires in short order. At least with these I got 30k-40k miles.
Now my experience with the ECS02s vs my typical 200tw Yoko AD09s is they do not have the same ability to grip and I have to brake earlier and carry less speed into the apexes or they slip/push a bit.
That said continental trail/endurance casing is shit and probably worst tires I’ve ever had on wet roots/rocks.
