Very happy with them - mileage etc no change that I can see - quieter also
Just got a set. Much quieter than stock conti 19 with 32k on em. My wife’s jaw dropped when she heard the new tire road noise levels difference. Very smooth not overly rigid at all. Would gladly buy again. Don’t hesitate
I bought Continental Extreme Contacts because they were a little cheaper and aren't supposed to wear as quickly as the Michelins, and the difference is tenfold.
Four years ago I bought a set of continental contipro contacts for my E90. $1200. They are still in good shape with plenty of tread. More than 50%.
I’d go for gp5000. Lasts *way* longer, is probably similarly fast and has great puncture resistance.
Continental cross contact lx25 ????, but also keep your weather conditions in mind.
Continental VikingContact 7s are my recommendation. I get an average of 4m of snow, where I live, every winter, and these tires have never let me down. And they're incredibly refined at highway speeds.
I was a loyal GP4000/5000 rider but had to switch a few years back. I think they changed something and it not only became harder to mount them, but it was impossible to break the bead and remove them. I switched to Vittorias but really miss the feel of the GPs. I feel much more confident descending on them.
Mine looked the same and were also overinflated at delivery. One of my tires didn't last 1000 miles, it developed a tear on the side.
