Tires DUNLOP or RIKEN
Mine have 30k miles on em and I live in Cali and they havent given me any trouble. I drove to Utah last year as well for a camping trip, they held up good in the heavy rain and dirt. I plan on swapping to an all around better tire though next year
Dunlop Q3+ Tons of grip, and good milage for the performance. Just be careful in the cold.
Dunlop Roadsmart 3 12k miles.
MT21 front and D606 rear, both great wear on slab
The D606 rear had a nice price/off-road grip/road handling/distance. I’d get about 4500km before the rear needed changing which was not to bad for the price. The only negative I have with the D606 is it’s not great on wet bitchumen. Very easy to lock the rear and go sideways with the slightest dab of rear break.
They're good on 40+ weather. And they're loud. Freaking louder than the Blizzaks and those are snow tires with huge knobs. They're stock tires so use em as much as you can then buy better tires.
Personally, I thought they were ok, during summer they handled great. Never felt uncomfortable in the rain or snow either. But once they finally wore out (and I mean…nothing was left on them), I swapped them for a pair of Nitto Neo Gen, their better and I feel like they grip a ton
I made the mistake of driving my 2018 on summer tires too late into the fall. There was no controlling it - the tires had no traction.
Yes and they sucked. I was lucky to have a very mild winter but I remember one day when it was probably around 25 with a fresh dusting of snow and they were ice skates.
I was naive and thought I'd be able to get away with the stock Dunlop tires until my breaks locked up on a snowy road approaching a red light at 5mph. Get some all weather tires asap!
