They are absolutely fantastic and well worth the price. They perform better than other name brand winter tires I've had.
The 999 rear does skid out much easier then the Dunlop American elite, however I like to skid so that is a pro for me. I ran thru 2 Dunlop elites quite quickly. For the record I did like the Dunlop AE, just didn’t like replacing it every season
The Elites are a much better tire and I’m going to miss them when they’re gone.
I run Dunlop American Elites. Mind you, I do so because it’s a good tire - not so much a ‘Made in America’ reason, albeit a plus.
Dunlop SP Sport J6, my go to for budget tyres. The wet and dry performance is good although it can get a bit noisy over time.
I have 28K miles on mine and they're still okay. I expect I'll get 35-40K out of them.
I did some research before buying Sailun (race dragon) winter tires on the cheap. They were OK, but didn't last as long as other brands.
Yes. Whatever craptastic run flat, I think Dunlops? that came on the Infiniti. I lasted about 8 months and 8K miles, being very liberal with throttle input, to justify to myself trashing them and replacing them with Michelin PS.
Idk I got rid of em at 15k cuz they’re annoying. Still had life. Just insane road noise
around 17K, very disappointed. Complete garbage
