Personally, I like Uniroyals but Cooper is good too.
Coopers are WAY better tires than the Uniroyal or Westlake...
The Cooper Zeon are significantly better, especially in the rain. I don't generally *try* to roast my tires, but there's been many situations where these Zeon tires have held grip where the Extensa would undoubtedly let loose.
i trash mine, and i’ve never had one go flat. last time i had my truck serviced they pulled 9 nails out of my Falkens & they were all still holding pressure (i work in construction). obviously i replaced them all but the fact they were holding air still made me just buy another set.
I ride the tires at 42 psi and currently w/ new Cooper Instincts at 44 psi returning comparable mileage.
If you go off road occasionally, and in the snow at all, the falken wildpeak AT is the way to go.
I run Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail's on mine. Not a true "winter" tire, but they have done amazing hauling my snowmobiles to the mountains as well as in our recent snow/ice storm here in the northwest.
Wild peaks have been good to me for the most part. One caveat I’ve seen after 3 years and 15k miles is they aren’t great in the snow (at least with big wide 35s)
I'd steer clear of the Cooper Discoverer. I had a set that did not seem to last as long compared to the Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs.
