Tires Falken or KENDA
I went a different direction and fit bigger tires on stock suspension. Looks like they are about 1" bigger in diameter and a little narrower. It was real tight in there so I wouldn't have gone any bigger than the 215/65/16s I ended up with (Falken Wildpeak AT, late model Audi rims) on factory setup.
The tires are very nice; comfortable and quiet, very good in all the conditions the Northeast brings.
Pulled the trigger on the Falken WILDPEAK A/T 255/55R19 much beefier tires. No way the Ms. can curb rash the rims now.
I had 35" Kenda MTs on my JK. I got 80,000 miles out of them . The only reason I didn't replace them with Kenda was because there were none available at the time I needed new tires. I never had issues balancing them and I prefer how they performed off road over my current tires. The Kenda's cleaned out better.
After searching online, I found a brand called Kenda Klever. After installing them, I did a review video on the tires and what I thought about them. Overall, they have been a good tire. Alot of comments I have read say they are hard to balance. I have not had any issues with them so far. I plan on doing another 4-6 month update video review on them to see how they are wearing.
I’ve had Falken Pro G5 all-season tires on my Fit for a year now, and for the price, they are very impressive. They grip surprisingly well when taking corners, and they haven’t experienced any dry rot or cracking despite the hot weather here in Texas.
Ran the 660’s this weekend. Like the feel and the grip on my Camaro. They did well with a heavy car.
Anyways, I'll be looking to get the RT's after seeing how well they perform locally I was amazed by them
We found them nice for around 5,000mi of spirited driving. They gave good reliable feedback in corners but didn't perform well in wet. I had separation on rear tread twice.
FALKEN ZIEX ZE-512, I had these on 18" wheels and they were a hard tire, lots of road noise and didn't provide a lot of grip. I didn't buy them again nor would I suggest them to someone. They were fine, but I am sure there are better tires out there. I went with FEDERAL SS-595 which were cheaper, quieter and grip way better in the dry. look at www.onlinetires.com
