I have them on my Alltrack - 225/40/18 and absolutely love them. Better handling and quieter than the stock 17in Kumho tires
Yah, awesome tire so far. They feel very similar to a PSS to me.
I have them on my alltrack. 235/35/19....they are truly an amazing tire for the money. Couldn't be happier with them.
My setup is Firehawk Indy 500s on stock Austin wheels. 225/40/18s. In terms of performance, the tires have been about as good as I could expect on the road. Turn-in feel is excellent, road noise is subdued, and the comfort is good. There is still some wheelspin off the line, but for the price the tires are excellent.
I run goodyear eagle F1 asymmetric 2 on my car. Good for between £70-80 per tyre.
My friend had them on his fiesta st which was putting out 300ft lbs of torque and he had no issues. Also great in the rain.
I put Firestones on all my cars, I've been running the "Destination" line of tires for several years on multiple cars. Never had any weird issues with them at all. Id definitely recommend Firestones to put on any daily driver.
I've had both. Get the Firestone and don't look back. Best tire I've used in the price range.
The Indy 500 is slightly better performing, while the RE760 is slightly more comfortable / refined. Which do you prefer? I had a set of the 500s and they were a really good value.
I got the Firestone Indy 500 in 215/55/17 and they have a LOT of grip but the sidewalls are very soft so there's not much steering feel.
I have Eagle F1's on my 986 and am totally underwhelmed.
