Tires Firestone or OEM Porsche
I run 33inch firestone at tires on my diesel truck and they are some of the best tires I’ve gotten. They definitely have improved since the 90s
I’ve had a few different firestone tires and have been very happy with them. Winterforce snow tires were decent, and the Destination LE2 were great. I’d be comfortable recommending the newer LE3.
I did however run the Firestone firehawk 500 tires on my car, and holy cow those are awesome tires. 10/10 performance rating, would highly recommend, they’re grippy and sticky as hell for race car like driving.
My Toyota came with Firestones OEM when I bought it new.
I’ve since used other brands, but had zero issues when I had my Firestones. They lasted about 75K miles, too.
I love my Indy500s, the amount of grip you get VS how long it takes to wear them out is great. No cracking either, even when I waited a little too long to switch to winter tires and it was like 30F out. Only tires that are better would be Pilot Sports at a much higher price
I have been impressed with the Firestone Destinations. They came on the new Jeep Cherokees. Liked them enough to replace with the Destination AT2 on my Cherokee and also my Tacoma. Good balanced all terrain tire.
I own a set of Firestone indy 500's that I inherited, and I really like the good grip and predictable slip plus the even wear and low noise. Definitely going to order another set
Same with Firestone fuel fighters. They were all I could get in a hurry.
They are pretty good in dry weather, but absolutely terrible in snow. If you typically encounter snow, invest in snow tires.
I currently have a set of Firestones on my car. I hate them. Noisest tire I have ever used, and they are leaving black marks on my garage floor. But they were cheep and that's all I could afford at the time. Never again.
