Tires Firestone or OEM Porsche
Prefer the Firestone's, however, since they're surprisingly quiet.
Punctures that didn't go deep in the tread usually would be fine. Looks llike they sprayed water on it and there are no air bubbles indicating air leaking.
It’ll probably be close to 50K on the Firestone Destinations that came on my ‘21 Sport DCLB, great tires.
Mine came with the Firestone Destination LE2 and I was going to take them off immediately but they ride nice and are quiet, 20k on them now and they have 7/32” left. They came with 11/32” so if they keep wearing at the same rate they’ll be at 3/32” at 40k and it’ll be time to replace them. They’ve got a 60k treadwear warranty but I live in AZ and the heat is rough on tires.
They’re $30 cheaper per tire than Firestone Fuel fighter. I’ve only read one review and that was a Tesla owner, he seemed happy with them.
I moved up to Firestone destination LE3 because it is mostly a daily driver for me. If you want a good all season with excellent wet traction and long treadlife and you don't need snow tires, I recommend the LE3. Night and day difference. WV is quite rainy, so I always go for wet traction.
Replaced with Firehawk Indy 500s. Quiet, super-grippy, predictable.
I recently bought a ‘16 with 6,500 miles. Most everything checked out but the tires were original and dry rotted to hell.
I put Firestone All Season tires on my Wilderness after I got a $600 nail. Biggest mistake. They are crap.
I had the wheels aligned and rebalanced 200 miles after the new tires. They still vibrate and ride like crap as soon as I hit 70mph. Never had that problem with the stock tires.
Cant speak to the Falkens but Indy500s get greasy after a few good heat cycles
