Tires Hankook or Goodyear
Hankook ion evo on my 2022 LR. Love em. Don’t care about handling, the car still drives like a go cart in my book. Quiet and efficient tire
I bought Hankook evo for the Lexus and it was very smooth, before I changed the car.
20k on the 19" Hankook Ion EVO AS
So the ride is quieter the handling is quite good and the efficency is amazing.
Hankooks are great. I find them quieter than the Michelins. 2019 M3 LR AWD. Got them in May and drove all over AZ and CO with them. Hwy and off road too. Heavy rain and mud. Haven’t tried them in snow yet.
Have these on the Tundra. It isn't an off-roader, but am on the 2nd set now. They lasted pretty well and were outstanding on wet roads and good on snow when I lived in the northeast
I have been running 165/80 hankook k435 on my daily driver 1302 for over a year and haven't had any issues so far. Might want to check availability on those too.
From my experience, goodyear offers the best rim protection, I got goodyear assymetric 6 225/45 r17, and the rim protection is big and also the sidewalls are stiff.
I had Venus V2s on my old shitty mustang. They were decent though their performance in the wet left a bit to be desired.
Got a set of Hankook with 70k miles warranty. After about 35k miles with mainly local suburban driving, the tread wear is almost to the indicator bar. Don't get Hankook.
Noisy is the least of your worries. These things are straight up plastic tires in the rain, seriously keep your distance and granny it in the rain.
