Tires MICHELIN or BRIDGESTONE
A 3PMS All-Weather tire like the Michelin CrossClimate 2 is doable. Tires like the Michelin CrossClimate 2s reach the ISO standard to be deemed a winter tire by every regulatory body in North America. They preform as well as a lot of winter tires.
I’ve been running Michelin Defender 2 on my Toyota Camry year round since 2020 and it does very well every single winter with no issues at all. Fully sipped tires do help for grip on snow and ice.
Bridgestone blizzaks are my absolute favorite winter tire, tons of traction!
I've been using blizzak tires for over a decade on my front wheel drive car. Best tire out there IMO.
I ran the non EV equivalent Michelin Sport on my Tesla for almost 5 years to the tune of $30 less per tire. The only difference I found compared to EV tires was a strip of foam for sound deadening.
Ich fahre den Michelin Cross climate 2 und bin hoch zufrieden
Ich persönlich habe die Crossclimate 2. Im Winter bisher völlig problemlos, auch in tiefem Schnee (allerdings mit allrad).
CC2 is an amazing tire. Snow fall from a single storm can be measured in several inches to a couple of feet. My wife’s Cayenne is an absolute monster in these conditions with the Michelins. She runs them all year and this will be the 3rd winter on the same set, with amazing wear.
We put Pilot Sport EV All Seasons on our 2024 M60 with 22s. They’ve been fine so far, a little more noisy than stock but good in the wet.
These are absolute JUNK. 35k miles on a well maintained Lexus RX 450h with normal driving - they are toast. We were going to change them in July because they are to the wear bars - except one bubbled a sidewall and blew while sitting in the parking lot today.
