Tires MICHELIN or Continental
I swear by Pilot Sport 4’s. They’ve never once let me down. They won an award for best tyres for hot hatches also.
I left run flats and slapped on Continental ExtremeContact. They look great and ride amazing. Also I went wider and kept the thickness so it feels a lot more comfortable
Michelin PS4. The ride quality and grip is completely different between that and the PZEROS.
Continental ExtremeContacts. Made a huge difference in traction, noise, and comfort. Even more of a point and shoot go kart now.
When SHTF I use Michelin Snow Grips. I have used these 3 times for about 30 mins each in about 4 years. our Michelin X-Ice tires worked great.
I just bought the Michelin CrossClimate2 tires for my ‘21 ID.4 and I really like them. They ride quiet and smooth. The car handles better and I couldn’t be happier.
I live in the PNW, we don't get enough snow to warrant a whole set of tires (for me, anyways). I've been running the Continental dws06 Plus (and the prior non plus version) for years, they do exceptionally well in a couple inches of snow, even ice. I have cable chains for when it gets really bad.
Canada here; I run Michelin Pilot Alpin winters on my Clubman JCW, but only the one set of rims because steel wheels won’t fit over my larger brakes and I’m too cheap to buy another set of “proper” rims.
Our 2018 came with the 20" Contis and from new, there's been a vibration at highway speeds. Had all four wheels balanced twice and it didn't completely go away, and the second time the dealer tech said one of the tires was slightly out of round.
the Contis (ContiProContact NON Eco Plus) that came stock on my '14 Jetta were utter crap. Couldn't balance them despite multiple shops and Road Force, etc. Replaced with el cheapo Hankooks and it was like a new car, smooth as silk.
