Tires MICHELIN or Cooper
I will cast my vote for the Michelin PS4S. I had a manufacturing defect on a set of Michelin's on my NSX. Upon my return they replaced all 4 tyres as the tread pattern had changed.
They were great for me. Looked awesome and held up for 40k miles or so.
Yep. Mine went down too. Seems like 5 to 10%. But I love the tires. Very quiet. Do great in rain and snow.
Michelin city grips are elite and shouldn’t be in the same convo as the other two. They’re in a whole different bracket. Best tire you can get for the Navi hands down.
2020 highlander platinum here, original tires were shitty in Nova Scotia downpours. Got cross climate twos and won’t use anything else.
I lost <10% mpg on my 2009 HiHy when I went to the CC2. I figure 2-3mpg less isn’t that terrible if you drill down on the math and the added safety and in my case improved stance/looks is worth the small cost difference.
The summer tire finally wore out and I’m running the Coopers till they are done. They’ve been a good tire for the price.
I had cross climate 2s in my previous vehicle and my van. I will be putting them on my Crosstrek as soon as the current tires wear out. They are pretty great tires.
You can get Michelins without the sound deadening foam that are a bit cheaper, but I've heard mixed things about how much louder that makes the cabin
Running Michelin Sport 4S - On 21’ GTI - While they are great in grip and fun they absolutely SUCK for wear. We rotate every 5k on the GTI they lasted 12k…10 months in south Florida. I check the air every month.
