Tires MICHELIN or DUNLOP
Michelin Pilot Sport 5. They have great tread wear for their class. Great dry weather grip, and really great wet weather grip as well. Tbh, I was surprised how hard I could push them in the wet.
Michelin pilot sport 4s, best tire by far. So far gone about 20-30k on them in the same car that ripped apart the goodyears.
I replaced the shitty tires on mine with a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 5 and the difference is out the gate.
I went the opposite. They both handle about the same. I only got about 18k out of the mpss. I'm at 10 on the continentals, and they still look brand new.
I had numbers 1 and 2 on my 2016 GS 350. The Michelin’s were better by far.
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4. Great longevity. Wear evenly/ not loud. Good drip in all conditions.
I had my PS AS4 on during first snow of the season and the braking distance was noticeably worse than my Blizzaks. They should be fine for 2-3 light snow days being M+S rated. Fantastic in summer and leagues above Alenza RFT in terms of both dry and wet grip.
I have the Crossclimates on my CX5, when they wear down, they start getting louder. I'm probably at 40-50% life left and they are pretty loud on dry pavement.
Ya I just put on Michelin cc2s after running the stock summers through some extreme cold and heavy snow. DO NOT run the summers in the snow it’s terrifying.
The tires are uncomfortable rocks at any temperature under about 55 degrees, and will actually fail at temperatures around 40 degrees. They are just-barely-road-safe competition tires essentially designed for use in warm ambient temperatures only.
