Tires MICHELIN or Falken
But it\u2019s spacious, good gas, and with Michelin sport tires, it rides like a dream. Seriously, upgrading the tires on the seltos makes the car mesmerizing. Almost hitting 60k on it.
If the Falkens are that much cheaper go with them, they’re an excellent tire
Replaced the OEM Michelin Primacy XCs at 55k miles. They were down to ~1-2/32nds but still perfectly smooth and quiet. Very pleased with Michelin.
Another vote for Falken Wildpeaks. I have the AT3ws but they're on the AT4s now I believe. Aggressive looking pattern, great traction in snow, and I used them around my property this past winter hauling firewood and observed great traction in mud, wet grass, dry dirt, anything.
And they're imperceptibly louder than the Cooper highway tires I took off my truck. I was really worried about the noise going to an AT tire but these really aren't bad at all. Once they're wore out I will absolutely be putting another set on.
Falken Wildpeak AT3W. Hands down. No questions, no debates. 35x12.5-20’s on my ‘18 2.7. Bought and installed in FL. Sand, mud, slimy boat ramps, no problem. Drove literally corner to corner across the country to WA. Did winter, no problem. Deep snow, gropple, wet, slick, no problem. So quiet for a tire that size it’s nigh unbelievable, yet here I am blabbering like a child. Did I mention it’s an actual 50k+ mi tire?
I got the Michelin's earlier this year and have been extremely happy with them. They do lack that aggressive look some want but if you want ride comfort and highway driving these have to be top of list. I believe they're winter rated and all reviews I watched said rain performance was near top for category.
I have been running the Michelin tires for years. Long ago I drove on the set of Michelins till the steel belts were coming out the sides, may pop style. They never did go flat and friends would joke about getting behind me at night. That they could tell it was me because there were sparks coming from the tires. Replaced a set on a Sport Trac I had on since 2002 a couple years ago. They still had tread, it was just that dry rot settled in around the rims. Was cracked so bad that I could put my fingers into the cracks. Wife pestered me so bad that I had to replace them.
I was looking for the same and landed on Falken Rubitrek. Love them. Road noise increased a little bit over the factory all season tires but it was negligible. I did take an MPG hit but that is true of any all terrain tires. I went one size up and 10 ply so unsprung weight went up. Get about 17mpg highway now with my 3.5 EB
Rt660 I have mixed experience with, on fwd with a narrower size they came apart and wore out quickly. In a rwd 315 application they seem to last forever
I had Falkens as replacement tires on my 626. They lasted a disappointingly short while. Next tire shop said they’re infamous for being soft and wearing quickly.
