Depends what you want, I run a staggers on my 13 GT/CS 275/40/19 F and 295/35/20 R N/A RN, but plan on supercharging, Michelin Pilot Sport 4 and they grip amazing once hot on track corners.
Honestly the Michelin pilot sport as4 is a better “summer tire” in many ways than the Hankook summer tires that come stock on these.
When I switched to Michelins the tire blowouts mostly stopped.
I'm in the Boston area and downsized to 18" Pretorias and Michelin Pilot Sport AS tires. Far less jarring when hitting potholes, no wheel damage yet, and the ride is smoother as well.
For tires, I'm running Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4's year-round and they have been exceptional.
I have 42k on Michelin defenders on my 2021 xle premium hybrid. Just barely passed inspection. They said to replace them by winter.
Can’t stand them. Michelin Defender LTX would be my choice on the XC90
