I've had no issues with mine; grip for days. Not sure what better ride would refer to. I don't think they're overly noisy, by any means.
A really popular tire is the Michelin cross climate 2. But I think they prioritize snow and rain performance. Nevertheless, I have them on my work car and my brother on their pilot and both seem like a nice ride.
Those are absolutely amazing tires because they grip so well in the winter plus they handle like sporty high performance tires on winding mountain roads.
The previous owners kept the brakes flushed and the oil changed right on schedule. It had a water pump at replaced at 70k, spark plugs at 60k(getting time for that again), and the normal 80k service with the rear end inspected and new fluid. It has some Michelin Pilots with most of the tread left.
I like the Michelin defenders, pretty good in all elements and lasts about 70k.
The Goodyear Endurance are very good tires. I had them on my rig from the factory. After 4 years I swapped them for Michelin LT tires.
Had Westlakes on my Grand Design from the factory, I didn't have a blowout but a number of people on the Facebook group I'm in did.
I replaced them with Goodyear Endurance mid-season last year and the difference in ride quality was night and day. I don't regret it.
Folks liked those Michelins very much, generally.
I am trashing all three of my Tx's today. Replacing with Goodyear Exhilerates. Suppose to be a good tire by the reviews that I have read (especially with wet traction).
I hated my pilots on my r3 they didn’t have much confidence to them did a lot of sliding, changed to Pirelli Diablo ll and never looked back
