Tires MICHELIN or Goodyear
I usually just buy the relevant Michelin, and it costs more, but they feel good for a long time.
Go with Michelin CrossClimate2. They are excellent winter and excellent summers. I didn't think it was possible, but they are great tires. In the winter they are as good as any great winter only tire. I have them on my Santa Fe.
A 3PMS All-Weather tire like the Michelin CrossClimate 2 is doable. Tires like the Michelin CrossClimate 2s reach the ISO standard to be deemed a winter tire by every regulatory body in North America. They preform as well as a lot of winter tires.
I’ve been running Michelin Defender 2 on my Toyota Camry year round since 2020 and it does very well every single winter with no issues at all. Fully sipped tires do help for grip on snow and ice.
I ran the non EV equivalent Michelin Sport on my Tesla for almost 5 years to the tune of $30 less per tire. The only difference I found compared to EV tires was a strip of foam for sound deadening.
Preis/Leistung Top.
I ran them for a decade on my old M135i. They’re great tyres, if a little compromised compared to the newer generation. They’re not great in the wet or cold, and the performance does start to drop off before you get to the legal tread depth minimum.
I had ps4s on my nd2 miata(molded aero, brakes, suspension, stock power)with a few track days and the last day they overheated on a 60f slight damp overcast track day after about 3 laps each session.
