Tires MICHELIN or Hankook
Just got some new PS4S and they are incredible
PS4S
Michelins are worth double compared to generals.
I used Michelin 2ct in the front and Michelin road 6 in the back for one season because the front lasts way longer than the rear. Had no problems.
I ran the hankook ventus prime 3 for the last 3 years on my IS, next year i'm probably going with the nankang as-2+.
Seriously though, I hope an FE team bites the bullet and does a lap or two on modified slick tyres. Those cars are quite fast on that Hankook Tyre, and could be even faster on the slicks.
I’ve tried Pirelli, Bridgestone and Michelin.
The Michelin’s ride is way smoother and softer.
I'm about 7 months into CC2s on my 2021 Forester and I'm now a fan. It took some getting used to but the driving has been really comfortable. Really good grip in wet weather and I'm not really seeing much if any dip in MPG. On longer trips I'm still clocking 34-35 MPG. For the noise people mentioned, I don't notice much of a difference from the stock tires - Bridgestone Ecopias.
The tech balanced the tires. Found one tire was WAY out of balance 5oz. Told me something was wrong with the tire but he balanced it and put it back on. The shudder disappeared for the first 5kms and then came back even stronger.
I had some on my LR4 and they were completely destroyed after 15k miles. Thankfully they had a 60k mile warranty so Michelin paid for a good portion of the Pirellis that went on next.
