Tires MICHELIN or Kumho
I'm using Michelin Primacy SUV+. Tahimik naman yung tires, compared to my previous Yokohama Geolandars. May mga road surface nga lang talaga na di kaya patahimikin but these tires are definitely in the quiet side.
I installed cross climate 3 sport on my MYLR 2023 2 months ago. Did an euro trip on them (7000km or about 5000 miles). No problem whatsoever, and I did encounter a few snowstorms in the Alps. They're really quiet and perform awesomely in both dry and snow.
I have the Michelin Cross climate 2’s. Rock solid, but it eats your range
I just got the Michelin e.Primacy’s and absolutely love them. No idea for longevity but sound level and handling have been amazing.
I'm using Kum-hos Solus Majesty Ta91 275s. They're $181 each at Discount Tire and haven't encountered any issues while driving in hard rain on the highway
From roughly May to November, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. These tires fucking rule, though they make doing burnouts kind of hard (and expensive).
The shitty months, Continental Extreme Contact DWS06+.
I just got some Michelin pilot sport all seasons put on mine, same size tire as yours. So far they've been handling really well and the traction is much an improvement over the worn out pirellis I had.
I have them on my 23 Forester and wish I had went with a different tire but that's simply my personal situation. The CC2 isn't a bad tire by any means. I've drove with them in our last snow storm which ended up dumping 6 inches and they didn't lose traction unless I made it and even then they'd recover traction within 2 seconds if I wasn't hooning it. My main reason for wanting something like the Defender 2 series is thr mpg hit my forester took. I went from about 34 - 35 mpg down to barely able to sustain 30mpg and easily sitting between 28-29 mpg now.
They'll suck on hard packed snow and ice and anybody who says they are the equivalent to a snow tire is dead wrong. But don't take that as they are bad, they are still good, just not what people hype them up to be during the winter.
I have Michelin soft rubber winter tires. I have zero traction on the ice.
