After having these tires for a while. These are some of the best tires ever made. There is so much grip. I can feel the weight transfer between the front and the rear when reducing the throttle slightly in terms of grip is astounding. It feels so comforting to go through that turn with a level of confidence I wouldn't get with other tires.
I have always run E-rated michelin's and have never had one issue, not even a flat.
They put Michelin Pilot Super Sports on a car meant to have all-season touring tires

I have some Michelin Defenders TH on my Lexus, they're whisper quiet. They leave some to be desired in wet/snow traction.
I went to PS4S' five years ago and will never go back.
Pro: Softer ride, more quiet and cheaper.
Spend a few more bucks and get Michelin. They will last longer and you’ll have a better ride the whole time. It’s worth the extra few bucks.
Defender 2 is excellent and reasonably priced
I’ve got the defenders. They get loud over 60 too.
I hated my pilots on my r3 they didn’t have much confidence to them did a lot of sliding, changed to Pirelli Diablo ll and never looked back
