Tires MICHELIN or LANDSAIL
I’ve had the same experiences with my pilot sport 4 AS. I’m at 41,000 miles and still going strong. I estimate I will get another 5 to 10,000 out of them. It’s really only the back tires that will need replacement. The front tires still appear to have most of their tread. The Michelin’s are incredible tires!

I have been running PS4S on my R32. These tires hold really well, even when it's wet.
The 18s have Michelin X-Ice Snow tires on them. So far so good.
Sounds like you need better snow tires. Or you need to learn to drive in the snow. I did just fine in Houghton with an NA Miata on Michelin X-Ices, and in a low slung FWD Volvo C30 on Vredestein Wintrac Pros.
Michelin cross climate 2. Just buy it. Your done. Best all around tire you can get.
CrossClimate2 is the golden standard of all-weather tires. You can't go wrong with this (other than the price).
Crossclimate 2 tires are still the best performing all weather/all season tires in the snow. I advised my dad to buy a pair and he is extremely happy with that decision. He is driving a 2017 mazda 3.
I have those on my c63S. They are ok, but I feel the same about the Michelin offering as well. All seasons suck. Not as much wet or dry grip, louder then summers. But they are cheaper and last longer.
My experience with Michelin is that they are terrible tires and WAY over priced for a terrible tire.
