Tires MICHELIN or NITTO
I put Pilots on my 24 MSP. They are slightly noisier, but they ride really nice. The quality of the tire and the load rating give me peace of mind.
I had Primacy on when I purchased Aug 24 , after 2 months I put Pilots on,,found them quieter.
Michelin CrossClimate all weathers. You can run them all year. Better wet and dry performance than a snow tire, long wearing.
last winter I replaced my worn out Blizzak tires with Michelin Cross Climate tires and was really impressed by the performance. Our winters have changed, less pure snow and more wet. Great performance in both situations.
CrossClimates are expensive up front, but they’re incredibly durable, offer outstanding wet handling and short stopping distances, and are among the safest all-weather tires on the market. Once you factor in how long they last, the price per km ends up being very low.
Very very happy with my x ice tires
I’ve bought both for my Jetta. The X-Ice worked great in our winter conditions. The X-Ice have a 60k tread wear warranty and the Blizzaks have none. The X-Ice are also made at the Michelin Pictou plant so they support Nova Scotian jobs.
I would stand by the Michelin Cross Climate 2 as a year round tire. I found it fantastic in the rain and snow. I think the trade off was that the ice performance was worse than a traditional snow and ice tire, but overall, it was just fantastic and if my current car hadn't come with new tires, I would have just bought those again.
I had ps4s on my nd2 miata(molded aero, brakes, suspension, stock power)with a few track days and the last day they overheated on a 60f slight damp overcast track day after about 3 laps each session.
