Tires MICHELIN or PHANTOM
AWD + Crossclimate 2 = unstoppable in DEEP snow! I work as a park ranger, and we had a 20" snowstorm... I easily drove through this despite only having 8 inches of ground clearance (power snow)... Prior to switching to CC2, I had factory Hancook Noble factory tires, which were awesome in the summer but embarrassing ???? in the winter. Vehicle = Hyundai palisade
Michelin is 100% worth it. I have them in my car 205/55/16 and they have been amazing so far.
Am pus Michelin CrossClimate 2 in octombrie pe o masina de 1.6 tone si locuiesc in oras montan.
In the snow, absolutely the CrossClimate2.
Cross Climates are great but they have more road noise because of the tread pattern. The defender is a quieter tire that’s also very capable.
I’d suggest Michelin, I had them on every limo I drove I trusted them good weather and bad. The ones I had were hard compound for life tire life but for my driving they were great tires.
I will say after installing diff and subframe bushings, there is a marked difference in cold weather performance on these tires. The car likes to step out a lot more readily. With stock bushings, the difference shouldn't be that exaggerated, but there is a difference in performance on cold Pilots.
Those Michelins are awful. Horribly off-balance with any amount of wear and only average on snow.
