Tires MICHELIN or Pirelli
CrossClimate 2. Little bit louder in the cabin, but best winter rated non snow tire.
Michelin CrossClimate2 is the best option for you. The CrossClimate2 wins every comparison test it's in, and is an awesome tire.
CrossClimate2 would probably be the best.
Last week I replaced the ecopia OEM on my 2021 cx9 CE to pirelli scorpions at $258 per tire. The Pirelli’s are great so far. I’m also getting better FE. Almost 1.5mpg more than what I got on ecopias
I recently replaced the OEM tires on my 2019. Plenty of tread left but was seeing some cracks. They had poor traction when it got wet, abysmal traction in the snow. Went with the Michelin Cross Climate 2. HUGE improvement. It's the family vehicle so I was willing to spend a bit more. Tires are worth it.
My new 2024 Tiguan SEL had a vibration. The Pirelli tires on it would not come into spec on the road force balance machine. I put on Michelins and no more vibration.
I have cross climates 2 in Canada, driving a Murano AWD. Great tires in all conditions, dry, rain, snow, except ice.
Michelin CC2 is a great long lasting tire that is great in just about every condition except very deep snow. It was a big upgrade from the General RT43's we had previously had on our '13 OB. We have General 365AW on our '23 which are not quite as good in the rain, but are a lot cheaper.
Every time this gets shared, I feel obliged to say that the Superhard tyre was never brought to a race weekend. Makes you wonder why they developed that tyre in the first place.
I knew the stock summer tires were terrible so for the first few months I drove the car balls to wall and made sure I wore off all the tread on all 4 tires before winter hit. Now i’m rocking the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4’s !
