Tires MICHELIN or SUNNY
Have them on my 2017 f150 got 66k out of the first set, probably could have gone another 75-7 k. Replaced them with another set.
I’m on my second set. First set lasted almost 60k miles and still had tread, but I decided to replace them because they weren’t doing as great in wet weather anymore. They’re the best tires I’ve ever run, and I used to be sponsored by Nitto. They’re quiet, great in the rain and under breaking, and last FOREVER.
I’m running these on my leveled f150, smooth as butter.
I run theses (Michelin) on my 16 Expedition 4x4. Love them. Amazing traction in wet and extremely comfortable. They wear like iron.
I have them on my 2021 Ram 1500. Bought at Costco and love them. Stock tires were dangerous in the rain. These are great in Michigans rain and snow. Quiet too.
I run them on my F150 and my wife's Yukon. The new M/S2 nearly ties with the Continentals in wet braking. They make great road tires and are more than adequate offroad too.
They’re amazing. I had 2 sets on my ‘16 F-150. I put larger Recon Grapplers on my '22 F-150 and they look cool to me, but ride like a stone wheel compared to the Defenders.
As unbiased as I can be, myself and my family run defenders on every vehicle we own, and latitude X-ice for winters.
After a lot of years of trying different things, the Michelins have been the best tires by far.
Just have these on for ~2 months
Handling in dry is still pretty good, not as sharp as the stock one for sure, but good enough for me
Heard that they are good inthe wet. I went through couple rainy days and felt like it's quite easy to get hydroplane.
Car didn't lose control, but I have never realised those water puddles in the past with other tires
Not sure whether it's a good thing or not
The best I've had are the Dunlop Direzza Star Specs (I and II) for summer. For winter ofcourse the Bridgestone Blizzak WS90s for the Michigan winters. I've had a set of Kumho Ecsta MX's and they weren't bad either, but the worst by far were the MICHELIN PRIMACY all-seasons. Noisy, tread lasted less than 20k miles and obviously it's unsafe to wait until 2/32" so not even replaceable under warranty (which claims 80k miles treadwear ....pfft). Never again.
