Tires: Continental ExtremeContact Sport (stock size)
I sure wish Continental ExtremeContact DWS were available. I've had them on a few ICE BMWs and they're awesome tires and work great with BMW suspension.
The best performance tires I ever had were the Continental Pure Contact, V rated. Superb handling, road feel, good ride quality. These were on my 2013 Tiguan.
Continental Extreme Contact Sport ????
I run Contintental Extremecontact Sport XLs and so far nothing but good things to say about them. Smooth ride, used to spin tires ALOT with my all seasons and now I get nothing but grip, massive difference.
I think the Conti's are probably the best in the price range for wet/dry grip, as I live in an area with a lot of rain I would go with those myself.
I had the DWS on my last car and they were *fantastic*. Highly recommended.
I just got some DWS06's last week and so far they are fantastic. I had contiprocontacts on before.
They did fine, not a great performing tire but for the price they aren't bad at all.
My biggest gripe was that you can't tell how much life it has left in the rear, since it had a smooth center. I just noticed mine showed cords one day.
I have some Nexen tires on a Kia Optima and all four are "out of round" with only 17k Miles. Like riding on square block. Crappy tires!
