Continental Tires

The DWS06 has been a phenomenal all season tire for me...These Contis have proven well worth it, as even with a FWD car, I'm able to drive on snow with minimal slippage.

Pros: phenomenal all season tire
Cons: minimal slippage

Continental ExtremeContact Sport, 225/40/18

These are the tires this car should have come with from the factory. They are smoother, quieter, and (obviously) grippier than the OEM A/S tires in dry and wet conditions.

Pros: smoother, quieter, grippier
Vehicle: Volkswagen
Mileage: 2000 km

The Michelin Pilot Sports A/S2 are the best tires you can buy for these besides Pirelli. I just put Continental DWS06 tires on my 2016 6 and it was like driving a different car. So much smoother and more responsive.

Pros: smoother and more responsive
Vehicle: Mazda 6

I have a set of the new Continental extremecontact sport ready to throw on very soon. These tires were designed to compete with the new Michelin summer tires. Tirerack did a performance test on the top summer tires and they performed just under the new Michelin PS4S but for way cheaper.

Pros: cheaper than Michelin
Cons: under Michelin performance
Vehicle: Dodge RAM

Most people conclude that Grand Prix are the best mix of puncture resistance, weight, grip and speed to sort of be the industry standard.

Pros: best mix of features

My biggest complaint about the Conti DWS's is their softer sidewall. I prefer a stiffer sidewall for a better turn-in. Other than that, I have heard good things about the Conti's.

Pros: heard good things
Cons: softer sidewall

I replaced them with more expensive Conti TS810 RFT. *Big mistake*. They ride like a rock, I expected more from updated run-flat tires.

Cons: ride like a rock
