Tires Nexen or Nokia
As for the ride, it is very quiet and more comfortable with the larger sidewall vs the 22. The road noise is about the same as the OEM, which is good as I moved to a more aggressive AT tread, which I expected to be louder. It is surprisingly quiet.
FWIW, I have the Nexen AT Pro RA8 on my truck because my size for the Cooper's was backordered at the time and after 2 years I don't regret my purchase at all and will likely get Nexen truck tires again
Very few manufacturers have a solid warranty that is actually usable in this regard, however one of the best warranties in the industry is from Nexen.
The Nexens on my 70’ Beetle work great. No need to pay more.
They were absolutely excellent rear tires for a RWD with a lot of power in a snowy climate with a jumpy driver. Zero issues with slippage, balance, wear pattern, etc. since installed in December. 10k miles later and I found them flat with a hole in my parking lot at work, and a plug would not hold, big bummer.
my Nokian One's are better than the OEM Michelin Primacy and Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 that I tried.
They are budget friendly and reliable. I'm using for the past 5 years.....have driven at high speeds for long distances and hot climate.....felt very comfortable.
Nokian Ones have worked out well in both my EV 2018 and EUV 2022. Better traction, ride and very very slight loss in range in my EUV.
I'm a little late to the discussion, but I had some Nokian all-weather tires for a couple years (on a Golf) they were better than all seasons, but definitely not as good as good winter tires in the, uh, winter.
I had some nexens on a passat years ago, absolute trash. Traction was so bad I could spin them with the crappy 5 cyl on dry pavement
