Tires NITTO or Firestone
Nitto Terra Grapplers. Horrible in the rain is an understatement. They wore pretty fast as well.
I'm running Wildpeak AT4Ws now and they've great so far. Haven't had any problems on wet roads, handled the foot of snow and ice my area got recently just fine. Pretty decent off road as well.
I’ve only got a focus st but my firestone fire hawk indy500s have been really nice to me. Not 200tw so they’ll last longer but lots of grip and not terribly expensive
Nt05
Best bang for buck I reckon
I've really enjoyed my Firestone Indy 500s. Plenty of grip and they give confidence in the rain.
I'm waiting on my factory tires to get a little more wear on them before I replace them. However, when I do I know I'm going with a much better set of Firestone tires then what the factory put.
I replaced my great condition hankook run flats with cheapo firestone weathergrips and they are better in every way. Warm weather, cold weather, rain, snow.. Better traction and ride comfort across the board.
I like firestone firehawk indy 500. summer tire. sticky. reminds me of the old yokohama S.Drive. Plenty of grip wet or dry, and in dry it's the only one that's let me put down full power coming out of a corner without going all spastic or lighting the traction control lamp.
Looks fine other than it’s wet and has other people’s rubber on it. You’re gonna find out that the Indy 500 is not a track tire. So when you push really really hard, it’s gonna get really greasy and loose very quickly.
My ridge grapplers slide in the rain more than any tire I’ve had. I’ll go to turn and I won’t even be going fast and I’ll just keep sliding the way I was going.
I've tried Nitto's twice and hated them both times. The compound is horrible and traction sucks.
