Tires NITTO or Firestone
I have Firestone indy500s on my GT,700 rwhp. Hard to beat the price
I put on Firestone destination at 2s in 235/65 r17. They are only 4lbs more than stock and perform great!
Drove 3hours in a blizzard like a TANK. I was able to drive 70mph with confidence, everyone else was going 20-30mph. I do have nitto motivo 365s which are 3pms certified but dang im impressed.
Have 5k on these. Great tires.
I see you already got some tires but for future reference the Firestone fire hawk indy500 is one of the best bang for buck tires out there. It’s been a couple years since I got mine but I think they were around $160 a tire and they WAY outperform the nitto nt555 that costs significantly more. I bought them as a cheap set of tires for the wet weather not expecting anything special and they surprised the hell out of me. I will recommend them to everyone that asks because they’re just that good (for a tire at that price range).
I have Indy 500s on my ND banger tire for the price AND you can drive them in the rain.
I have 275/70/18 p rated on mine and am really happy with them. Quiet, great performance in rain and light off roading. Hopefully should be able to test out snow performance soon.
We had Firestone Transforces on my dad’s truck when I was in high school. Slightest hint of mud and they would pack up and slick off in an instant, but man they lasted a long time.
I changed my OEM Nitto Terra’s that came on my Pro out last week for Baja Boss AT’s after only 15K miles. They were scary dangerous on wet roads.
I had cupped Nittos on my ‘20 Pro and as soon as I replaced them… the 55-60mph steering wheel shake was gone.
