Tires NITTO or Vredestein
When the lift was installed I got 35 inch trail grapplers and it looked amazing. Highway noise increased a lot. I really loved the tires but in my opinion they worn down very fast.
I’ve had Ridge Grapplers on my ‘21 TRD pro for 45k miles and they’re just at point it’s time to consider replacement. I have been very happy with them.
RG’s all day. They’re incredibly quiet on the road and there’s not a better looking tire IMO.
I’ve put 2 sets of Vredestein AS’s on cars and they are a good tire, performs well in TR testing
Being in the DC market, Vreds are favored by European customers it seems. I put a set on my moms SUV and she loves them. I've never heard any complaints regarding them
I live in Minnesota and got these for my Model Y in August 2022. We have 50k miles, two Midwest winters, and Im buying a second set to replace them now. I could MAYBE get another 5-10k miles but I dont risk it here.
Like mine, I’m running Nitto NT555 G2s, they have around a 30k mileage run. As opposed to Michelins Defender 2 which have an 80k mileage the compound on most daily tires should be a little harder, lasting longer.
Nitto neo gen seem to be the chosen stretch tires right now. I've got them on my FRS, but only a 215 over a 9"
Decent performance, wet isn't the best. But I havnt had any excessive wear issues or bubbling at about -4° squared.
My wife has Nitto 555G2's on her Mustang and complains about it tracking every groove in the road. Her old Nittos didn't do that.
The ride is nice, noise is low, but the wet traction is very poor.
