Tires Sailun or ADVAN
Living in Germany, my small-ish town German mechanic ordered me Nexen (Korean) for winter and Sailun (Chinese) for summer, saying they're just as good as anything else and much cheaper. I never had an issue, even with Autobahn use every other weekend.
Sailun makes good tires, but if you are getting those Goodyear at the same price point as the Sailun, it is a no brainer for the Goodyear.
You can look up the sailun brand they make good tires sailun terramax for trucks. I have on my SUV sailun inspire and it's been good so far the experience
It all depends on how much you want to spend you can get away with sailun inspire tires I have them on my car and they have been great in dry and wet and it was 33% cheaper than the Michelin defenders
I have sailun e-range. Solid choice.
I have those tires also. They were quieter than what came off.
Yes, they are good for the price. They last a while, but aren’t as grippy as other 200tw tires.
They do give great driver feedback due to stiff sidewalls, but this comes at the addition of road noise.
On track they come up to temp nice, and are gentle as they reach the edge of traction. They also don’t turn to ice when overheating, they just slowly start getting slippery.
Overall for the price, if you can only afford 1 set of tires, I’d recommend.
Sailun is far from the best, but better than most 3PMS all-seasons.
Can’t speak for the GT, but the WSL2 is a mediocre tire. A friend of mine used those, and they worked, but were noisy when I rode in his car. He never complained about traction though.
They lasted about 30000 on my Camry. I had a problem with one of them that I had my local Firestone mount and “balance”. One day I noticed a loss of 3-4psi and subsequently saw a screw in the tire. Had been experiencing a lot of road noise sounded like a helicopter at cruising speeds.
