We put Nokians on ours and so far it's awesome. Much quieter than the Gitis were. Haven't had snow yet though.
Get Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5 tires. It's the best winter tire on the market. We got them a few years ago for our Model Y and they've been excellent.
I just recently switched to Nokian Wrg5 and so far I'm loving these on my 3.6 Outback. These seem to be a bit more winter focused.
We put Nokian Hakkas (I can’t spell the full name lol) on my wife’s Escape and they are the best mod we ever gave it. I swear by them now.
Proper all weather tires like the Nokian WRG4 are great in winter. I had them on my Lancer and highly recommend them!
I ride on Nokian outpost nat. I’ve been in everything you can think of weather wise. They are better than 3 season tires but there is no true replacement for a pure winter tire.
I have had all-weathers on 3 vehicles. A Nokian that I don't recall the model of, on my RAV4. Had the tires on for about 5 years before I sold it.
I've had a few sets of Nokian all weathers on different vehicles. They're excellent. The all weathers honestly don't give up much and are way more like a regular tire on dry pavement.
last tire I bought was Nokian ice edge, Chinese but good for our climate. This will be the third, and last season for these tires so they lasted ok.
i purchased 4 nokia tires in july of 2024. by june of 2025 the tires are completely bald. i bought a good tire rated to 80,000 miles and have them rotated and balanced every other oil change. in my entire life i never seen a tire wear down so fast.
