Tires Toyo or FEDERAL
Tires: Federal 595 rear / Cooper Zeon RS3-A front
Tires: Toyo Proxes T1 Sport
I use them daily for about 2 years now in SoCal. Daily drive them. I do fine at track days on them and they lasted quite a long time. Now they are pretty loud however but eh kinda get used to them.
Federal RSRR. My last set lasted me 25k miles which included 4 track days and 2 auto xs
Ended up going in a completely different direction. Found the Toyo Open County AT2 for 20% off, making it significantly cheaper. Couldn't say no given the price.
If you plan on using the Federals for daily driving i do highly suggest looking elsewhere. They are sticky but they are god-awful loud at any speed over 30mph. The tread design makes them hum like no other tire ive ever run on. Track day setup only then the Federal is a great tire to try out. Sticky as hell and very forgiving on the breakaway. Initial turn in is a bit less precise than the Azenis but not by much.
i have the toyo m/t's. they're 37x13.5 r17 and they ride super smooth. you can definitely hear them a little bit but they are the least noisey m/t tires i've owned. i've also been told by multiple shops / people that i have one of the smoothest riding lifted trucks they've ever driven. so that says something about these tires. i'd personally recommend them
Anyone here running Federal 595s? I’m using them on my Focus ST. In case you’re looking for a great low price tire, id give the 595s a try. Mine handle great in warmth and on rain it’s pretty decent if you’re not flooring it from a slow speed. We’re past snow now and in snow they handled okay as well. Overall, great tire for the price.
They stretch real nice.. handling and ride isnt that great though compared to my Vredstein sporttrac 2's I had.. if you can get those i would look into it. They are awesome tires in every aspect, way above the Toyos..
Mine lasted 2.. but only because they were worn almost to the belt at the end of the second summer. I should have tossed them after the first summer of use...
